Nothing beats your first sip of coffee on the first chilly day of the year, especially when you're bundled up in plaid or strolling through crunch leaves while letting the flavors warm you from the inside out. Depending on who you ask, we largely have Starbucks to thank for this beloved experience as the brand's pumpkin spice latte debuted over two decades ago.

Since then, coffee shops everywhere have launched different versions of the oh-so-popular PSL along with creative variations of autumn-inspired beverages. This Bachelor alum-backed coffee house in South Kingstown has placed a Halloween spin on its seasonal menu, debuting a handful of drinks inspired by candy bars. Try Frankenstein’s Peanut Butter Monster, a sugary combination of peanut butter, chocolate, espresso, and milk, then topped with Reese’s Pieces, or the Candy Apple Pie Latte. Tucked inside one of Charleston’s most chic residential developments, Alcove Market has debuted a take on a classic pumpkin latte. Using a local favorite, King Bean espresso, the coffee is mixed with pumpkin spice syrup and steamed milk. It's best paired with a pumpkin muffin from the pastry shelf.
