While there are some undeniable favorites in the world of Easter treats (lookin' at you, Reese's Eggs), there are some candies we wish the Easter Bunny would just leave in the carrot patch. May these treats never make their way into your basket.

1

Sweet Tart Jelly Beans

I'm not a huge fan of Sweet Tarts or jelly beans on their own, but put 'em together and things just get really weird. Think super sweet, super tangy, kind of chalky, and kind of gooey. Bottom line: there's a lot going on here ... too much for my Easter basket.

2

Brach's Bunny Corn

It's controversial at Halloween, and it's controversial at Easter, too. The company changes the colors up to fit the holiday, but this bunny corn ends up looking more like funky bunny pellets. As for the flavor? No surprises here; it pretty much just tastes like waxy frosting.

Who actually likes Peeps? Anyone? Anyone at all? Bueller? True, they come in bunnies and chicks, but make no mistake: these candies suck no matter the form. Add in wacky flavors like Blue Raspberry and Party Cake, and it all starts to feel very, very odd.

Charm's Easter Fluffy Stuff Cotton Tails

"Stuff" is an appropriate descriptor for this candy,  which is basically a fluffy mystery ball of cotton candy-like sugar air. The cotton tail angle is cute, but it just doesn't save this candy from being absolutely weird.

Cadbury Creme Eggs

Fair warning: I'm about to spout some blasphemy. Cadbury Creme Eggs are gross. They're too rich, the competing textures freak me out, and the gooey creme is far too messy for my taste. Same goes for the Chocolate Creme Eggs — just way too much going on in there for one candy.

Brach's Chicks and Rabbits

Remember those weird Circus Peanut candies? The orange ones that taste like dried-out marshmallows? These are basically them, but in different shapes. Need we say more?
