Coffee with a sense of humor! I love it! Also, their matcha is sublime!

Listen, I know it's a nationwide phenomenon at this point, but it's the closest I can get to beautiful, beautiful Cafe Du Monde coffee without flying myself out to New Orleans each morning.

The pie at this place is...so good. Like, yes, the coffee is also so good and a perfect accompaniment for, well, pie, but the pie is so, so, so good.

Yes, it's another larger chain, but Intelligentsia's Chelsea location is nestled into the beautiful and vaguely historic Highline Hotel, making every coffee you have there feel like it's part of a crucial 90s rom-com scene.
