Record Holder: Michel Lotito (a.k.a. Mr. Mangetout)

Location: Grenoble, France

Since 1959

While this record doesn't involve food per se, the record for Strangest Diet does concern eating. Michel Lotito has been ingesting metal and glass on a regular basis since 1959. Also known as Mr. Mangetout (or Mr. "Eats Everything"), Lotito eats two pounds of metal each day, a feat gastroenterologists describe as "unique." Lotito says he is made ill by foods such as hard-boiled eggs and bananas. Go figure.
