It all started with a mouse, they say. So it's almost disrespectful — sacrilegious, even — to step foot in a Disney theme park without wearing Mickey ears. The parks do their best to regularly stock shelves with new headbands: colorful ones, sparkly looks, holiday themed varieties, birthday versions. There's even a Disney Parks Merchandise headwear development team to manage the task. But as with all things Disney, there's an underground mecca devoted to mouse ear fashion, and you can find it on Etsy.

Pick your poison: There's probably a design for it. One of Etsy crafter EarsByMaci's most popular is her pizza headband. The ears are trimmed in tan felt — the crust — and there are layers of red sauce, then yellow cheese that's dotted with tiny pieces of pepperoni.

She's got pineapple headwear, too — perhaps a nod to Dole Whip — and Maci sells ears devoted to syrupy pancakes, cinnamon buns, donuts, and ice cream.

Her shop isn't the only one to create a niche clientele out of Disney-obsessed food-lovers. Oops A Daisy Ears has sushi and taco ears.
