If dressing for the job you want is a thing, dressing for the drink you want can certainly be, too. We assume that's why more and more brides are opting to walk down the aisle in champagne-colored dresses. They just want a nice glass of bubbly after exchanging "I dos."

On the spectrum of bridal gown colors, champagne's far from the craziest you can get. It's only a few shades from bright white and ivory, not quite a daring silver or break-grandma's-heart blush. In Pinterest's recently-released 2018 Wedding Report, the site revealed search and pin volume for champagne dresses are up 358 percent from last year.

For brides who don't want to go the ultra-traditional route, champagne dresses a great choice, often embellished with lace or beading.

The au naturale gowns look great at outdoor weddings, playing off rustic, neutral tones.

Plus, they complement pretty much any skin tone. You don't need a nice tan to pull one off, like bright white can call for.

And if that's not really your style try a rose-colored gown (also trending), and tell yourself it's a riff on rosé.
