Lucky Charms got a little trendy when the cereal introduced a magical unicorn shape to its lineup of marshmallows last month, and now fans of the beloved cereal can enjoy a new addition, just in time for St. Patrick's Day. According to The Junk Food Aisle, you can now buy Chocolate Lucky Charms in stores.
A photo of the cereal was posted to Instagram by the snack blogger earlier this week and, according to the pic's caption, the cereal was found by a self-proclaimed foodie at their local Walmart. It's worth nothing though that Chocolate Lucky Charms aren't new — according to Refinery 29, they were first introduced as a limited-edition cereal in honor of St. Patrick's Day back in 2005. This, of course, is the first time that customers can purchase the chocolate cereal with the unicorn marshmallows and all.
Judging by an Instagram post from Candy Hunting last year, Chocolate Lucky Charms are normally rolled out on a limited basis around St. Patrick's Day, but since this new box doesn't appear to have a special, limited-edition label, it might be safe to assume that chocolate lovers will be able to enjoy the chocolate-y version of the magically delicious cereal all year round.
