Wives put up with a lot from their husbands, but one woman went out of her way to show her guy that there's definitely something she won't tolerate: His sexist jokes.

Imgur user vollkoemmenes uploaded a photo of his wife's reaction to what he assumed was harmless banter. He called his wife a "sandwich maker," and while he may have thought his joke was funny, this photo proves his wife definitely wasn't laughing …

Sure, she made him his sandwich, but after one bite he realized she hadn't taken the plastic wrap off the cheese layered into the middle of his lunch.

She must have accidentally left it on, right? Wrong. To show her husband how much an accident the anatomy of this sandwich wasn't, she wrote in bold letters on the cheese's packing, "Not Sorry." Genius!

Impressed, this husband immediately shared his wife's brilliant comeback with Imgur, and people are loving it. The post has already racked up more than 7,000 upvotes and 200,000 views. It seems some women are even getting their own ideas from the prank.

"Absolutely glorious. I showed my husband so that he's aware of the new threat," wrote one woman. "I would come home and give that woman the biggest hug and tell her how much I loved her ... " wrote another user.

We think vollkoemmenes learned his lesson. His Imgur post speaks for all the strong, independent women who don't deserve to be stereotyped as sandwich makers, or anything else. Next time he considers making an inappropriate jest, we bet he'll think twice. In this situation, it seems as though he might have bitten off a little bit more than he could chew.

Husbands everywhere, beware.
