You love Chick -fil-A for its delicious takes on Southern favorites, but who knew the chain was into serving up stuff from the deep, deep South aka Mexico? Apparently Chick-fil-A is serving guacamole — the only catch is that the popular dip isn't available at all of the restaurant's locations.

Chick-fil-A announced in a news release earlier this year that it would begin selling guacamole in 28 of its locations in southern California. According to the chain, they wanted to take advantage of the fact that California produces 90 percent of the nation's avocados.

"Tastes and cuisines differ region by region so, Chick-fil-A offers a few different menu items at restaurants around the country," a spokesperson writes in the release. "This time we're talking guac."

Unfortunately the guacamole that the chain offers isn't Chick-fil-A's own, made-from-scratch recipe. Instead, customers at participating locations have the option of ordering 2 oz. packets of Wholly Guacamole to go along with their meals. It's not exactly homemade but, on the bright side, it'd still make a pretty good addition to a grilled chicken wrap.
