While most of us couldn't imagine squeezing all the stuff in our bedrooms into 100 square feet, this tiny home has managed to do just that—and more. The 12-foot-long "Nugget" designed by Modern Tiny Living, is much smaller than most other tiny houses on the market but still manages to have all the essential amenities.
With a bathroom, kitchenette, and sleeping area compacted in the small frame, the abode is based on a single-axle trailer and weighs 4,500 pounds. The exterior is adorned with pine siding and a metal roof for a clean, modern design.
A polished wooden countertop makes up the majority of the kitchen with a deep single bowl sink, a copper faucet, and mini fridge. These copper and wooden accents can be seen in the knobs and shelving throughout the home.
The bathroom is well-hidden behind a pocket door featuring a composting toilet and small shower while the built-in bed sits snuggly in the back corner with additional shelving and hangers.
The "most livable 12-foot home of the market" is advertised as a weekender by Modern Tiny Living, which makes sense considering the home lacks some necessities. There's no stove or room for a television, which could pose a problem for full-time living. However, the Nugget makes use of every inch of space possible. There's storage under the bed and open wraparound shelving to hold plenty of supplies and knick-knacks.
The entire home also has complete off-grid capabilities, powered by roof-based solar panels and an integrated inverter and battery set. A 100-gallon fresh water tank and propane heater ensure the occupants won't go thirsty or cold.
Starting at $29,000, or $36,000 with full off-grid power, it could be the perfect travel companion for your next road trip. Tour the entire home in this video, and check out these impressive tiny homes for more small-space living ideas.
