Disney parks are dominating the food game and when you thought maybe it couldn't get any better than glow-in-the-dark lemonade, they make an out-of-this-world announcement (lol). Yup, the next restaurant coming to Epcot will be space-themed.
Eater reports that last weekend, attendees of the D23 Expo fan convention were given a look at the future dining establishment. It will be a table-service restaurant with "galaxy views," allowing guests to "travel high above the Earth," and will be adjacent to Mission: SPACE, the popular shuttle simulator attraction.
The new restaurant will be operated by Patina Restaurant Group, which operates nine dining spots at Disney parks already, including Tutto Italia and several Downtown Disney restaurants in California.
While no menu item details have been released yet, I would like to imagine there will be a slew of glow-in-the-dark treats and obviously galaxy food (obviously!). Until the menu is revealed, you can swoon over the new Mickey Beignets.
