If you're not drinking a margarita (or five) on Cinco de Mayo, I'm seriously questioning your life choices. I guess Coronas could work, but we all know this is the margarita's time to shine. So leave it to Trader Joe's to make you feel slightly better about the tequila you'll be drinking — and probably regretting come Saturday morning.
Meet the Organic Jalapeño Limeade! Why they didn't just name it "Stuff You're Going to Mix with Tequila That Also Happens to Be Free of Synthetic Additives " is beyond us. The 32-ounce beverage just recently hit shelves, but leave it to dedicated Trader Joe's shoppers to get the word out!
So far, reviews have said that the Jalapeño Limeade is very tasty with a good amount of spice. If you're (smartly) planning to avoid all Mexican restaurants until you can be positive that the crowds have died down (you know, in like August), this is a good option for homemade virgin margaritas. Oh, and don't forget to pick up one of these awesome tequilas to finish it off!
