Flowering marshmallows are the latest ~fascinating~ food weirdness from Dominique Ansel, the mad pastry genius who brought you Cronuts so many years ago (2012). I love this guy — he's bonkers and he loves to innovate tasty insanity. Is he single?!
Anyway, the flowering marshmallows are gorgeous to behold, as they grow from tiny little white lumps into beautiful glowing gerber daisies. I love them so much! Food is art, y'all.
Blossoming Hot Chocolate is available at Ansel's New York City locations (Soho and the West Village) as well as in Tokyo and Ansel's new London bakery.
