Technology often gets a bad rap, and nine times out of 10, we understand why: It's easy to shake our heads in frustration when kids would rather spend time staring at a screen than at a book. That said, sometimes the influence of technology on children can actually encourage creativity, rather than stifle it, which brings us to three-year-old Ava Laurance.

Ava, who hails from Perth, Australia, debuted her online cooking show last month. Called "Cooking With Ava," the show features the toddler whipping up dishes for her YouTube fans. So far, she has made "strangled" eggs, strawberry cupcakes, pasta dough, and "hidden veggie" pasta sauce.

After seeing his daughter's love of cooking, Ava's dad, David, came up with the idea of filming her. "She's always cooking up fake, make believes in her little wooden kitchen, and I just thought it would be a good idea to film a cooking show," he told WAToday. "She doesn't actually know how to cook, but I've been teaching her along the way."

Ava has all the makings of a bonafide chef. "First things first, you gotta wash your hands," she orders at the beginning of her video for "strangled" eggs. "It doesn't matter if you get shell in there," she continues. "It's good protein." (We're taking notes, Ava.)

Though Ava has only made four videos thus far, we can't wait to see what else she and her dad come up with, because, honestly, there's no way we could ever get bored watching Ava learn how to cook. Watch Ava make eggs above, and check out the rest of her videos below:
