First, tiny houses blew up the internet, and now it's time for tiny fruits to get their time in the (miniature) spotlight.
Enter the cucamelon: an adorable fruit that looks like a mini watermelon. About the size of a grape, a cucamelon is a mix between a cucumber and a watermelon that tastes citrusy, and is native to Mexico and Central America.
Aren't they just the cutest?
But there's more: If you think cucamelons are cute, brace yourself for dwarf pineapples.
These baby-sized pineapples are edible but prickly. If you don't want to bite into them, they can be used in floral arrangements or used as table decor.
And yes...they come in pink!
Finally, there are miniature bananas. Chiquita mini bananas are half the size and taste a little bit sweeter than a regular banana. They are great for kids and can be found at your local grocery store.
Sorry, Wayne Szalinski, but it looks like all of that trouble you went to inventing an electro-magnetic shrinking machine wasn't really worth it.
