In a similar fashion to Taco Bell's answering 45,000 customers wishes for their favorite discontinued menu items to return, Burger King brought back their famous chicken fries last year, making them a permanent menu staple after people created petitions and Facebook pages crying out for the return of the beloved chicken fry.

Burger King is introducing a new item that appears to be a spin off their chicken fries: chicken fries rings.

Let the confusion ensue. They appear to look like onion rings but they're also very close to donut in appearance.

After noticing that more people are coming to BK for the chicken, the snack is being introduced along side chicken fries. They will be available nationwide starting Monday for $2.89 per six-piece order. Additionally, BK is offering a $1.49 for 10-piece nugget promotion - all the more reason to get thee to a Burger King and get your hands on these chicken donuts.

This is the forth in the series of chicken fries that Burger King has sold. Other varieties of chicken fries include Fiery Chicken Fries and Buffalo Chicken Fries. It's safe to assume that more chicken fries mash-ups will be coming our way soon, because chicken fries are essentially crack.
