Earlier this month Taco Bell launched a new breakfast value menu to bring you a host of Mexican inspired breakfast items for the stellar price of $1. Now, the idea of a whole food item for only a dollar is kind of amazing until you think about the fact that a food item can cost you only 1 George Washington and somehow still create a profit for Taco Bell (hmm...). To figure out if these new extremely value priced breakfast options were yay or actually really sus, Jenn Harris and Noelle Carter of theย LA Times decided to try the whole menu and review it in the language we all know best, emojis.
Here are some of our favorites.
Grilled Bacon Breakfast Burrito
Like its sausage counterpart this burrito comes with nacho cheese and eggs. It has the added bonus ofย cheddar cheese cause there's no such thing as too much cheese.ย

The angry cat emoji + questioning face basically mean you're not in for a good time if you opt for this bacon burrito. It's so sad when bacon doesn't fulfill its potential. (Although theย happy blush face makes us think maybe this burrito deserves another chance to impress).

The poop emoji has spoken. After seeing one of these reporters using the infamous icon to describe this number you can be sure we are staying far, far away.ย ย
Cinnabon Delights 2 Pack

As emoji lovers, we know dancing salsa girl = this slays. The heart eyes emoji basically seals the deal. But really, cinnamon-flavored donut pastries for breakfast? That menu item was born to be a winner.ย
Mountain Dew Kickstart Orange Citrus

Um, this drink looks dangerously orange. Jenn is loving it with some heart eye emojis but our thoughts are more in line with Noelle, it looks like this drink could use a good dose of vodka (Taco Bell boozy brunch anyone?).
