We've seen our fair share of hybrid foods by this point, and just when we truly thought we'd seen it all, we met the cinnamon bun layer cake. We like big buns and we cannot lie.

Hybrid foods are good. Super-sizing delicious foods is even better. And eating dessert for breakfast basically the bomb.com. So naturally, a ginormous cinnamon bun cake is the kind of thing that gets our hearts beating just a little bit faster. Blogger Caitlin from Public Lives, Secret Recipes decided to take the cinnamon sugar breakfast treat to the next-level by making cinnamon bun dough into two large cake layers and filling and topping it with a cream cheese frosting.

I mean, buns and cakes are both round and both frosted, so it's a natural that the two would combine into one. Though this cake would be over-the-top, lose-your-mind delicious with ice cream for dessert, it also makes the perfect brunch dish when you have a crowd to feed. (Or, you know, just for yourself, because #treatyoself).
