Minion mania is in full swing, and it's hard to not be charmed by those adorable yellow creatures. However, some toys McDonald's is hawking to promote the characters new film are seriously pissing off some parents. Multiple local news channels have reported complaints that the bright yellow figurines inside their kids Happy Meals are spewing profanity.

First a family in Florida told WFTV in Seminole County, FL that their granddaughter's toy was swearing. They're convinced the little guy is saying, "What the f*ck?" Then a father in Wythe County, CO came forward, telling WCYB that he thinks his child's Happy Meal prize is saying, "Well I'll be damned!"

Each minion seems to have a different jibberish phrase, so you won't know if yours will have a potty mouth or not. That is, if you believe that's what these Minions are saying. Editors at Gizmodo uncovered a video review of the Happy Meal toys, which they also believe is repeating "What the f*ck?"

But the fast-food chain swears the Minions aren't cursing. A representative from McDonald's HQ told both WFTV and WCYB that the character toys speak "Minionese," which is "a random combination of many languages and nonsense words and sounds."

Obviously this is 100 percent up for interpretation, as the recordings are obscure and a bit gargled. But maybe we should all just play it safe and stick to buying banana-flavored Minion Tic Tacs.
