As if knee-high, overall-wearing yellow blobs weren't cute enough, Tic Tac one-upped the adorable factor when the brand released limited-edition Minion Tic Tacs to promote the latest Despicable Me spinoff, Minions. It turns out the rest of the world was just as taken with the cartoony breath fresheners, with three-packs being sold on eBay for up to $25—quite a price hike from the $3.23 Walmart charges for a four-pack.

Tic Tac's Facebook page—as well as #miniontictacs on Twitter—features dozens of questions from fans, asking where they can find the passion fruit-flavored snacks (yup, the US version is not banana-flavored after all, which is a separate debate altogether). Users have started posting exact stores where they snagged theirs, along with photographic evidence to prove they're not sending fellow Minion-acs on a wild Gru chase.

Tic Tac says the treats can be found at the following stores (including select grocery and convenience stores), though you may want to call ahead to confirm they're in stock:

  • Walmart
  • CVS
  • Kroger
  • Safeway
  • H-E-B Stores

Eagle-eyed shoppers have also found them at Hy-Vee stores in Missouri, Save Mart and WinCo in California, and at Five Below stores in Houston, according to the brand's Facebook page. Based on the "found 'em!" comments, it seems people are having the most luck tracking them down at CVS stores.

If you're not all about the thrill of the chase, you can also buy a pack through Amazon, though the shipping for a single box may cost you more than the Tic Tacs themselves. Or you could just make one of these movie-themed treats instead, because nothing says "Assemble the minions!" quite like your own horde of one-eyed, goggle-bedecked cake pops.
