UPDATE: August 19, 2015

Jared Fogle, former Subway spokesman, has officially pleaded guilty to the harrowing child porn charges he received last month. As of yesterday, Subway has completely terminated its relationship with Fogle and his wife has issued a statement that she is seeking an immediate divorce.

According to the New York Daily News, Fogle will be convicted later today of paying underage girls for sex and obtaining child pornography. As part of the plea deal, he will pay $100,000 to each of the 14 victims. He will be forced to face a minimum five years, but could see up to 20 years, in a federal penitentiary.

UPDATE: August 1, 2015

New reports say that the FBI has subpoenaed text messages between Jared Fogle and a Subway employee, with whom he was sexually involved, that suggest Fogle paid a 16-year-old girl $100 to have sex with him.

According to TMZ, the conversation in question occurred in 2008. Fogle asked this woman to advertise herself on Craigslist, have sex with other men, and allow him to watch for a fee of $500 per sexual encounter. The woman responded by asking if this was how Fogle found the 16-year-old girl he had slept with, adding, "I still can't believe you only paid $100 to her."

Fogle's response, "It was amazing!!!" is beyond cringe-worthy.

Jared Fogle, the Subway pitchman who famously lost 245 pounds while eating a diet of fast food sandwiches, had his home raided this morning by federal authorities, Fox 59 reports.

According to the TV station, state and federal investigators had warrants to search Fogle's Indiana home in connection with a child pornography case. WTHR reports that the agents removed electronics from the house to analyze in a mobile electronics van in Fogle's driveway. The FBI confirmed to Business Insider that an investigation was taking place, but wouldn't say why.

The investigation may or may not be connected to Russell Taylor, who led Fogle's foundation until he was arrested in for possessing child pornography. The foundation has since cut all ties with Taylor.

WHTR also reports that Fogle was detained during the raid, but is not under arrest. His wife and kids left the home after authorities arrived. There has been no comment from Fogle, his foundation, or Subway.
