UPDATE: September 16, 11:45 a.m.: Just when we thought on-demand convenience-store snacks (hello, Honeybuns!) were peak lazy, 7-Eleven is taking its delivery service to an entirely new level by rolling out date night and hangover packages. This means that you can get a box of date night essentials (a tub of Ben & Jerry's, Hershey's chocolate, Red Bull, mint gum, and condoms) for $20 along with a kit for the morning after ($15)—complete with Gatorade, extra-strength Tylenol, and a large pepperoni pizza. The first five cities to reap the benefits of this instantaneous service through DoorDash are New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Boston.

ORIGINAL POST: July 2, 2:27 p.m.Welcome to summer: it's about to get hot, and we're about to get thirsty. This is no normal thirst though, it's a thirst that only an ice cold beverage with an onomatopoetic name—yes, we're talking 'bout a Slurpee—can satisfy. Of course when it comes down to deciding whether to put on pants and actually walk to your neighborhood 7-Eleven, or settling for water, water will probably win, but the thirst won't be quenched.

You may never have to leave your home again because 7-Eleven is testing out a delivery service in partnership with Postmates. They aren't the first big name chain to do so—recent days have seen Starbucks, Chipotle, and even McDonalds partner with the San Francisco based delivery company to bring anything and everything right to your door. Select locations in Oakland and San Francisco will offer on demand service for the time being and if all goes well, they'll expand to cities across the country later in the year. Just in time for their newest flavor!
