McDonald's needs something to hit with news of doom surrounding the company, so it makes sense they'd want to go all in on summer with their new limited-edition pulled pork sandwich. Enjoying the barbecue-season favorite at a Mickey D's restaurant will feel just like eating one at a cookout, right? Probably not, but it will do in a pinch.
We're also surprised McDonald's just now released a pulled pork sandwich. Like, Wendy's totally had pulled pork last year, and Burger King offers theirs on A HOAGIE – the artisan king of buns.
Still, McDonald's must think their offering is equally impressive as the pricing is the same as BK's version. A Pulled Pork Sandwich Value Meal combo (with fries and a drink) runs you $5, or you can nix the sides and get two sandwiches for the same cost, according to Brand Eating.
Here's the downside: At the moment, you can only get your McDonald's-approved summer on in Indiana.
This promo card was found on the floor at a location in Butler, Indiana. If the sandwich has its moment, perhaps they'll become available nationwide. Until then, maybe you can get your vibes at that family bbq. Just pee before you go.
