Today Cumberland Farms is preemptively celebrating the official start of summer with its annual Free Chill Zone Day, pouring gratis slushes and sodas all day long for the sixth year in a row. Visit one of the chain's 600 locations along the East Coast for a fountain or frozen drink from the store's Chill Zone section. If you're feeling adventurous, you can mix and match or layer the flavors. Said displays of creativity could also help you win more freebies: Tweet or Instagram your selfie with your slush using the hashtag #GotMyChillZone before 8 p.m., and you'll be entered to win one of ten $25 gift cards.
We kind of like the idea of a 24-hour sugar rush... just beware of brain freeze (and the inevitable post-sugar crash).
