When sisters Lee Wright, 56, and Leslie Roy, 52, got stranded in the snow of rural Michigan on April 11, they turned to the only food stores they had: girl scout cookies and a few cheese puffs. For 13 days, that's all they ate.
According to the AP, before the trip, one of the sisters posted on Facebook that they were looking to seeing Tahquamenon Falls, which later gave search teams a clue to where to look. But without cell phone service in the area, they were hard to find, being rescued by helicopter only after the sun reflected off one edge of their car's windshield. They were weak but healthy and are now safe.
And thus ends this allegory of a woman's menstrual cycle. Sleep well, children.
