First it was jalapenos on everything, then sriracha and then some brands went gaga for ghost peppers, so it's no surprise that Taco Bell is kicking it's heat game into high gear with an announcement that a hot sauce called Diablo is imminent.

In a video on Twitter (see below), the chain said its hottest sauce ever will be released on Cinco de Mayo, and will only be available for a limited time. Diablo will be made with a variety of peppers, including aji panca, chipotle and chili, Taco Bell spokeswoman Ashley Sioson told AdWeek.

"We're all familiar with Verde, Mild, Hot and Fire, but if there's one thing we keep hearing from our fans, it's that they want more heat," Sioson said. "Diablo will deliver just that—[it] packs a punch with a 'we don't give a shishito' attitude."

Foodbeast actually got a hold of some Diablo and reports that compared to Taco Bell's traditional Fire sauce "the taste is actually really good and it's noticeably spicier than Fire. However, it could definitely be spicier."
