There's got to be someone over at Ben & Jerry's that is just sitting around, infiltrating our dreams of summer days filled with beer and ice cream. Because there is no other explanation for the news that the company is creating an ice cream-flavored beer, right after we learned of the existence of ice cream burritos.

According to ABC News, Ben & Jerry's Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale Beer is being created as a partnership with Colorado-based New Belgium Brewing. The team-up springs from both companies' status as B Corps, or "Beneficial Corporations." According to a news release, B Corps must meet comprehensive and transparent performance standards that measure a company's impact on workers, suppliers, communities and the environment.

"We're big fans of New Belgium Brewery, their values, and their fun culture, and of course their beer" Jay Curley, senior global marketing manager of Ben & Jerry's said in the statement. "We're excited for the campaign we've developed together. When two B Corps collaborate our fans can expect something both delicious and impactful.

So get ready to extend summer drinking season this year — this beer hits the shelves in fall 2015.
