The Starbucks Newsroom (yeah, that's a thing) announced that 2,800 of their Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest United States stores will serve cold brew starting at the end of the month.

How is that different than the eighteen iced lattes you've sucked down since March 1, you ask? Cold brew will be made "using cool water, while traditional iced coffee is made by brewing hot coffee at double-strength and pouring over ice. Iced espresso beverages – such as an Iced Latte or Iced Caffè Americano – are made by combining espresso shots with cold milk or water and ice."

This brewing process takes more than 20 hours and gives the coffee a lighter, more citrusy flavor, Starbucks Research Development rep Michelle Sundquist tells Eater. Also, there will be no decaf option available and each Starbucks will only have 40 Grande cups worth of the brew per day.

There's no official Starbucks rule saying you can't purchase all 40 cups at once, but sharing is caring, you guys.
