When most people crochet, they aim to make, say, a winter scarf, or a cozy blanket. But crochet artist Kate Jenkins is not most people. She looks at her crochet hook and thinks "sequin-covered fish and chips" or "pillow-like burger and fries" or "a silly take on a cup of coffee."

We spotted Kate's designs on Dine X Design and we were instantly smitten (especially her punny take on popular brands, like "Tabasew" sauce and "Stitchy" peanut butter).

"I usually pick something that makes me smile/laugh when I initially come up with the subject matter," she told Dine X Design. "I am always looking for new inspiration and this usually comes from a night out with friends or family who also like to get involved and suggest things."
