Between pizza rat, spaghetti rat, and Subway rat one thing is clear: Rats are having a viral moment. While we're sure the rodent is enjoying its fifteen minutes, where does that leave cats? Aside from these amazing cat-shaped fried eggs, the internet's original superstar has been sorely neglected as of late. But this amazing Instagram account might be just what the furry feline needs to get back into the spotlight.
Cats on Tap is all about bringing the cutest cats and the tastiest beers together for our viewing pleasure. But as cute as these kitties are, we can't help but wonder if they actually like the beer they're posing with. Because this cat certainly doesn't like coffee.
If the Instagram isn't enough for you, the team behind this genius concept also runs a Twitter handle devoted to, "a visual adoration of all things cats and beer." Sounds about right to us.
Kitties featured include Rosie the Russian, Milly the Masher, and an array of furry guest posts. The cats have posed next to everything from red ale to bourbon barrel stout, all while maintaining that indifferent stare we've come to love.
And, as in the grand tradition, they're ready to mess with us and our precious beer if they don't get what they want.
