The maker of Viagra Ice Cream is bringing food lovers another gimmick: edible mist. Charlie Harry Francis, founder of experimental events company Lick Me I'm Delicious, the "birthplace" of glow-in-the-dark ice cream, has designed the "Edible Mist Machine." The cool contraption pumps out more than 200 flavored vapors, like chocolate, apple pie, smoked bacon…even lobster. According to the press release, the machine uses "ultrasonic vaporization to create a microscopic mist which you suck up through a straw to get an instant flavor hit."
At zero calories, according to Francis, the mist flavors taste exactly like the real thing. Machines are available for rent for parties and private events and the flavors are customizable. Francis says, "It's interesting to see how clients are using them, we've had bookings for minty palate cleansers, double flavour hits; strawberries and cream, bacon and chocolate and then clients who want to completely flavour theme their event with multiple funfair flavours like cotton candy, toffee apple and popcorn."
According to the release, Francis is currently working on a levitating cocktail machine and a jellybean waterfall.
