Brace yourself for a food marriage that may shock even the craziest Mardi Gras reveler. While many shops around NOLA are busy advertising their takes on the season's festive King Cake, a food truck in the area went a step further and introduced a King Cake Burger.

FOOD DRUNK, which describes itself as a food truck serving "chef inspired, alcohol influenced cuisine," unleashed its latest food offering just in time for the Mardis Gras 2014 celebrations. The burger, which is made from 100% black angus brisket and comes topped with sharp Cheddar cheese, is surrounded by a King Cake-like bun, complete with bright, spring-like colors.

In a post on its Facebook page, FOOD DRUNK explains, "We worked with Ye Old Bake Shoppe to develop the bun. It's not as sweet as a traditional King Cake. It's more like a brioche bun with a light fondant glaze."

If you happen to be in New Orleans and you want to get a taste of this colorful sweet-and-savory dish, check FOOD DRUNK's Facebook page for updates on its location.
