The holiday eating season has a bit of a twist this year. On November 28, 2013, the first full day of Hanukkah will coincide with Thanksgiving Day. The serendipitous calendar occurrence has spawned a hybrid holiday: Thanksgivukkah.

On tables across the country, Thanksgivukkah celebrators and fans will prepare feasts that observe the finest edible offerings from both traditions. But perhaps you don't have time to make turkey and brisket, or mashed potatoes and latkes. Never fear. Here at Delish we decided to pit the Thanksgiving food stars against the Hanukkah food stars in an epic showdown that would result in the ultimate Thanksgivukkah collaborative menu. In a completely unscientific poll, we asked food editors and hungry people to weigh in on the battles. Here we present the results of Thanksgivukkah Showdown 2013.

Turkey vs. Brisket

Poultry and beef go head-to-head in this main course showdown.

And the winner is…
