There is no struggle more real in the summertime than cutting watermelon, but this is the summer that everything changes. We've learned how to cut a watermelon into sticks, and now we're wondering how we've lived without this hack all these years.

Blogger Christy from The Girl Who Ate Everything has a next-level (and seriously party-ready) way to cut watermelons. Start by cutting the melon in half crosswise, like most of us do.

But then this is where the ~magic~ happens, because you then cut each half vertically into a grid.

And now you've got yourself convenient sticks of watermelon, which you could of course eat, but we're also thinking about what kind of watermelon cocktails we can mix up. I mean, what is watermelon sangria without  a watermelon spear garnish, anyway?
