Del Taco is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the limited-time re-release of the Bun Taco, which, as you may have deduced from the name, is a taco-like interior packed into a hamburger bun. According to Foodbeast, this fast food hybrid is loaded with taco meat, lettuce, Cheddar cheese, and a slice of tomato, and essentially looks like a sloppy joe. The Bun Taco is part of the the fast food chain's Throwback menu, which features choices inspired by classics and includes two other items: the Taco Salad (basically the Bun Taco in salad form, with the addition of tortilla chips and the chain's signature white sauce) and Orange Shake.
