Pizza is taking off in India — literally. NBC News reports Francesco's Pizzeria in South Mumbai has managed to use a "remote-controlled, GPS enabled four-rotor" drone to deliver pizza to a friend of the restaurant's CEO. The first successful flight occurred on May 11 and took just 10 minutes, a trip that normally takes their motorcycle delivery service 30 minutes.
Oh, and did we mention that this drone delivered to the top of a 21-storey apartment building? Unfortunately Mumbai residents won't be seeing their pizzas flying through the skies anytime soon, as drones are illegal for commercial use in India. However, Francesco's is hoping that ban will be removed in the future.
