Everyone in the Delish kitchen went CRAZY for the TikTok quesadilla hack (you know the one). There are truly countless ways to customize that hack, but we couldn't stop thinking of one sweet twist... PIE CRUST 🥧!
We basically turned this trend into a 4 layer Turnover. This recipe uses canned pie fillings but feel free to use homemade. Also you don't reeeeaally need to use the egg wash and Turbindao sugar but we think it adds some gorgeous color and great texture. We went with the classic flavors like apple, pumpkin and cherry but you can swap in any pie fillings you can think of!

Ingredients
Flour, for dusting
- 1
frozen pie crust
- 2 Tbsp.
cherry pie filling
- 2 Tbsp.
blueberry pie filling
- 2 Tbsp.
apple pie filling
- 2 Tbsp.
pumpkin pie filling
- 1
egg, beaten
Turbinado sugar for sprinkling, optional
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375º F. On a lightly floured surface, lay out pie dough. Cut a slit from the center of the dough straight down to the bottom of the dough. Starting from the bottom left quadrant and moving clockwise, spoon cherry, then blueberry, then apple and finally the pumpkin pie fillings onto the dough leaving a gap between each filling.
2. Working carefully, fold the cherry quadrant over the blueberry, pressing down the outside edge. Repeat, folding the triangular pocket over each filling, making sure the outside edge is sealed to avoid leaking during baking. Brush the top of the pie pocket with egg wash and sprinkle with Turbinado sugar.
3. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the pie crust is baked golden brown. Slice in half to show off the pie layers and serve.
