Mark your calendars, my friends. We have a very important event coming up. It involves queso...need I say more? On Thursday, September 20, participating Moe's Southwest Grill locations will be offering 6-ounce cups of queso and "fresh, warm chips" for FREE.
This is the eighth year in a row that Moe's has graced us with such a lovely treat. Why, you may ask? "Because at Moe's, Queso is Life," the chain says. You're not wrong, Moe's.
The best part of the deal is that you can walk in, get your free queso, and leave. There's no purchase necessary (although how could you leave without nachos or a burrito)?
Also, for the biggest queso kings and queens, there's the Free Queso for Life sweepstakes. Those who enter between September 1 and September 20 will be eligible to win "free queso for life" (which is actually one cup of queso per week for 24 years, but I'll take it)!
To enter, download the Moe's app on your phone. Once you make a purchase at Moe's, check in through the app by scanning your receipt, or you can visit Moe's Facebook and click on the "Free Queso for Life" ad.
The lucky winner will be announced on the Moe's Facebook page on September 21.
According to a press release, Bruce Schroder, President of Moe's Southwest Grill says, "Free Queso Day is our favorite day of the year because it gives us the opportunity to say thank you to all of our loyal fans and what better way to do so than with a free cup of our fan-favorite liquid gold."
