When POPSUGAR wrote about a lunch box blowing up Pinterest, we had to see for ourselves. A ... lunch box? Breaking the internet?
They were not wrong. This particular lunch box is omnipresent on Pinterest right now with hundreds of pins of the stripes and insulated insides to boot.
There could be a few reasons for the lunch-centric phenomenon. Firstly, Baloray makes a cute AF lunch container. So cute, in fact, it could be mistaken for a lil tote bag, should you be concerned that bringing an actual lunch box to work makes you look funny (...it doesn't, BTW). Secondly, well, it's almost the end of August. Which means it's almost fall. Which means people are going back to school and also don't want to leave their offices for lunch. Which means they'd like an aesthetically pleasing vessel to carry their miscellaneous fall-flavored lunch items in. Which means "cute lunch box" searches are probably up a gazillion percent.
Oh, and thirdly? It's cheap.
Those are just the first few things that come to mind though. Who knows. It's the internet. It could be anything.
