Michael Scott, Dwight Schrute, and the rest of the gang would have the ultimate dance party at Replay Lincoln Park. The Chicago bar is making dreams come true with a pop-up dedicated to arguably one of the funniest shows to ever grace our screens. Since late July, Replay has hosted a "Dunder Mifflin Office Party," and we think even Angela would approve.
The Office pop-up transports fans to Scranton, where you can see Dwight's desk, take photos with life-size cutouts of Pam and Jim, and play Office-themed trivia, according to The Chicago Tribune.
To wrap up the pop-up, the bar is celebrating accordingly, hosting its own "Dundie Awards." As any fan of The Office knows, it wouldn't be "Dundie Awards" without Chili's. According to a representative from Chili's, the restaurant is partnering with Replay, so that attendees can all say they "feel God in this Chili's tonight." I NEED TO GO.
Chili's posted on Twitter and Instagram, teasing the appearance at the pop-up. On Twitter, they said for 31,564 retweets, they'd bring Chili's to The Dundies. The seemingly random number, it turns out, is actually Michael Scott's birthday.
The Facebook event description says that Replay has brought on "talented Office fans to create a whole script for an Office-themed 'awards ceremony' honoring Dunder Mifflin's best and brightest."
Dundie's standing room tickets are $20, and reserved seating is $40. Your ticket gets you two drinks, including a Chili's Presidente Margarita (obviously) with a keepsake glass, a commemorative t-shirt, and entry to win one of many The Office-themed prize packs.
So, put on your whitest sneakers, and head to Replay on August 17. On the event's page, Replay says, they'd "love for you to come!" and then add, of course, "that's what she said."
If you can't make it to the Dundies, Chili's will be sharing the awards live, so you can tune in on Friday, Aug. 17 after 7 p.m. CT.
Or, you could always just watch "The Dundies" episode while sipping your own homemade marg. Since it requires very little work, Michael Scott would definitely approve.
