Every good cheese plate needs a few things: Cheese, obviously. Crackers, preferably a variety. Meats — prosciutto, salami, maybe some Mortadella if you're feeling super Italian. And, last but not least, jelly. It may be the easiest to forget and the first things you skip when you're in a hurry, but we're here to advocate for some fruity spread on your tray. Especially if it's wine jelly, like the kind made by Walter and Nancy Warner.

The Vermont-crafted jellies come in four flavors, and they're light-years ahead of the grape or strawberry spread that you've probably got in mind. Each jar is made with actual wine, like the Cabernet and Cracked Pepper jar, which pairs well with cheddar cheese, according to the Warners.

Other flavors include Rosemary Garlic Chablis (Chablis is a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes), Burgundy Anise Wine Jelly, and Spiced Wine Jelly, which already has us thinking of the holidays. Spread these fancy jellies over cheese, crackers, and meats, or just take a spoon to the jar ... we're not here to judge.
