Dwayne Johnson may be the highest-paid actor in America, but his diet isn't all Champagne and caviar and the truffled essence of unicorns. The former pro-wrestler knows how to treat himself — and when he takes a cheat day, he goes all out with the most everyman, nostalgia-inducing foods known to man. Only he does it in the larger-than-life way you'd expect from a 6-foot-5 star who can cradle a grown man like a baby in his arms.

Over the holidays, Johnson Instagrammed a behemoth of a dish, which he deemed his "Christmas gift for himself": 8 slices of sourdough French Toast, with a slab of lattice-topped apple pie on top.

It's a far cry from his usual diet — a pre-workout cup of coffee, followed by five high-protein, veggie-filled meals per day — but even someone as chiseled as The Rock takes a cheat day every now and then. Instead of going for a run, hitting the gym or doing some heavy lifting (the combination he follows six out of seven days a week), Johnson took it easy, relaxing on the couch while watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens, "like the big, brown, bald, tattooed glutinous version of Jabba The Hutt."

"I want everyone out there to remember one of our golden rules during the holidays, 'Don't cheat yourself, treat yourself,'" he wrote in the Instagram post.

After the post started popping up on entertainment and celebrity news sites everywhere, we had to wonder: How many calories are in a meal like that, anyway? Since we couldn't analyze The Rock's French Toast — though he's always welcome in the Delish kitchen, should he ever want to make it for us — we settled on the calorie count for the sourdough French Toast at Original Pancake House, which seemed similarly sized and prepared. Eight slices added up to 2,504 calories and 128 grams of fat. That's without maple syrup.

Then, conservatively estimating that Johnson cut 1/8 of a 9-inch pie (again, not knowing the pie recipe, or if that size is accurate; we're being very scientific here, clearly), that'd be another 296 calories and 14 grams of fat, according to USDA guidelines. Hence our rough estimate of 2,800-ish calories consumed in the single meal.

Naturally, in our Give-A-Mouse-A-Cookie methodology, we then had to imagine how long you'd have to work out to burn off those cals — and translate them to Fast and the Furious fight scenes. If The Rock's fight scene with Jason Statham could be compared to hardcore boxing, and boxing burns 727 calories an hour (on average), he'd have to duke it out with The Transporter himself for about four hours. Whew.

We're exhausted just thinking about it — and way more on board with the idea of chilling out while watching BB-8 roll across Tatooine.
