Forget ghost stories and singing Kumbaya—anyone who's anyone knows that the best part of summer camping trips is roasting s'mores at the end of the night. That blend of crisp graham cracker, melty chocolate and gooey, semi-burned marshmallow has become its own flavor category, like salted caramel or pumpkin spice, popping up in all kinds of treats, from dessert pizza to crispy treats.

At Clinton Hall in New York, the trifecta of decadence gets taken to entirely new heights—quite literally. The S'mores Please waffle—shown in the video above—is essentially a mountain of sweets, from the chocolate frosting and Fruity Pebbles-covered platter to the pile of whipped cream on top. Watching it being made is mesmerizing in and of itself; it's the only waffle of the four served (Peanut Butter and Jealous, Cookies 'N Candy and The Ultimate Breakfast) that requires a blow torch. To get the marshmallows perfectly toasted, of course.

These Jenga-like stacks of waffles are the latest in the over-the-top food trend, in line with Black Tap's piled-high freakshakes, rainbow bagels (stuffed with Funfetti cream cheese, naturally) and Katherine Sabbath's neon drip cakes. They're bright, they're bold—and they'll probably put you in a sugar coma after roughly seven bites. Not that we have a problem with that.
