If you're expecting a well-balanced breakfast at New York's Clinton Hall, you've come to the wrong place. It is, after all, a beer hall—one that's famous for its Burger Challenge, which requires you to down a triple-decker burger, half-platter of fries and a pint of beer—so it only makes sense the eatery's "ultimate breakfast" waffle would veer more over-the-top drunk food than straitlaced and sensible.

Just like the Cookies N' Candy and Peanut Butter and Jealous waffles, this towering treat arrives at your table looking like you're about to play edible Jenga. In some ways, you are. The chefs carefully stack three waffles between layers of fresh strawberries, blueberries, all kinds of nostalgia-inducing sugary cereals, bananas, maple syrup and extra-frozen ice cream (so it stays firm, and you can get that 'gram before it turns all Leaning Tower of Pisa on you). The whole monstrosity is topped with a swirl of whipped cream, more maple syrup and—the crowning glory—a mound of bacon.

This massive dessert hits on every craving a human being can have, especially after knocking back a few beers: sweet, salty, savory, smoky (helloooo, bacon!), fruity, crunchy, carb-y.

It's not the sort of thing you want to tackle on your own—unless you don't mind waking up in the corner, surrounded by waffle debris and cereal crumbs, unsure of your life's decisions—but, when shared with eight or twenty-eight of your closest friends, it's totally manageable.
