Nothing on Clinton Hall's menu truly prepares you for its waffles. Sure, the description sounds decadent, and the server may warn you that most people share the treat, but you have to see in order to truly, fully appreciate it.

First, there's the plate, which is Instagram-worthy before the waffles are even stacked on top of it. In the case of the Cookies N' Candy, Clinton Hall essentially makes its own semi-edible sprinkle bowl (though theirs is a little more stable than these chocolate ones). A classic white plate is coated in frosting, then topped with handfuls of rainbow sprinkles or M&Ms.

Next comes the first of three waffles, a riff on a classic, pillowy Belgian-style treat. It's what's between these breakfast staples, though, that really takes things OTT: Layers upon layers of M&Ms, crumbled Oreos, KitKats, vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and strawberry syrup. Once the wobbly stack is erected, the whole thing's topped with whipped cream, and somewhat stabilized with a massive unicorn lollipop pierced through the center. It could easily feed four to six.

The beer hall and restaurant dreamed these up as the next evolution in the over-the-top dessert trend. "We already have the Walter White's Crystal Methadonuts, and those are extremely popular, but we wanted to do something that's truly big and wild," said a representative for the brand.

Clinton Hall has a waffle iron in its corporate office, which inspired them to start playing around with it, eventually bringing in friends in the industry to taste-test their creations, before settling on the final four: Cookies N' Candy (see video above), Peanut Butter And Jealous, Smore(s) Please and The Ultimate Breakfast.

We'll be showing how every single behemoth stack is made; Check back over the next few weeks to see the remaining two!
