Catching up with Erin Andrews can seem like playing Where In the World Is Carmen Sandiego?—the woman is always on the go. She divides her time between two major—albeit wildly different—hosting/reporting gigs (Dancing with the Stars and Fox Sports), and when she isn't on set or on the field, she's adjusting to life in Minnesota, where she recently moved with her boyfriend, Minnesota Wild hockey player Jarret Stoll.

During 20 minutes between meetings in New York, Andrews sat down to discuss how she stays fueled from the field to the ballroom, and why you should probably check the expiration date before ever grabbing anything from her fridge.

She Has No Time to Tailgate on Game Day.

When Andrews is covering a football game, she's typically running around nonstop, which means having a "huge breakfast" is absolutely crucial.

"That's basically the one and only meal I'm going to have during the day," Andrews explains. "We can snack a little bit during the game, but there's really no time, if you think about it."

She'll snack on trail mix during halftime, and often, as soon as the game ends she's rushing to catch a plane, so she doesn't have time to grab dinner someplace.

"I'm lucky if the flight serves a meal," she says.

Her Fridge Is Stocked with Drinks.

Andrews may live in Minnesota these days, but the two main drinks in her refrigerator nod to her upbringing in the Sunshine State—orange juice (always Florida brands) and Gatorade. You'll also find a ton of bottled water, triple-cream cheeses, lemons and yogurt.

"You would find some milk, but I couldn't promise you whether it's good or bad," Andrews jokes. "We don't get to do a lot of grocery shopping in our household, because no one is ever home, so it's always dicey if everything is good or expired."

She's Known for Making a Great ... Seamless Order.

Andrews' weeknight dinners often revolve around what's available for delivery, or on Seamless or DoorDash, but she's been easing into cooking since moving to the Midwest.

"It's definitely hard to make a meal during football season, because you're exhausted; you don't want to go shopping or anything like that," she says. "I've done a roasted chicken a few times, and that was really good."

She's picked up Ina Garten's cookbooks and bought a slow cooker, and a friend introduced her to one of her favorite new recipes: an Italian sausage pasta sauce that requires almost zero effort.

"It's the easiest [recipe], but it worked out," Andrews says. "A girlfriend recommended that I just throw tomato sauce in the Crock Pot, and I get some mild Italian sausage, dice it up and throw it in there, add some spices and maybe some green peppers. Set it, forget it—that's what we like to say—go to the hockey game, come back, and it actually tastes like I made this sauce from scratch. Obviously, I didn't."

She's All About Snacking On The Go.

When you're constantly traveling, you don't always have time to sit down to a nice meal, so Andrews often relies on keeping a well-stocked bag, and having a few go-to snacks she knows she can buy anywhere in the U.S. She's big on trail mix, ThinkThin bars—"they make me feel like I'm getting a little protein," she says—and yogurt.

She Treats Monday Nights Like You Treat Saturday Night.

Andrews runs through exactly what she eats while filming Dancing with the Stars in the video above, but what really got our attention was the dinner she has after filming has wrapped.

"I'm out of the Spanx, I'm out of the tight-fitting dress, I'm off the ballroom floor, so I'll usually go for big-time pastas and a couple glasses of wine," she says.

Sounds like our kind of meal.
