In all honesty, I've never eaten something and thought "Boy, this would be so much better with some Twix flavoring sprinkled on top." That said, I can now put that feeling to the test since Sam's Club sells a Twix seasoning blend you can put on anything your heart desires if you're brave enough.
Seasoning blends inspired by popular foods and snacks seem to have become a trend lately, with bottles of Cinnamon Toast Crunch seasoning, Kraft Mac & Cheese cheese powder, and more available for purchase. The famous Twix candy bar is the latest to get its seasoning makeover.
Conveniently named Twix Shakers, the blend is flavored with chocolate, caramel, and cookie flavors is suggested to be paired with ice cream, milkshakes, cookies popcorn, cakes, yogurt, fruit, donuts, toast, donuts, coffee, cookies, cakes, pancakes, whipped cream or hot cereal.
On the Sam's Club website, where a 13.5 ounce shaker goes for $5.48, photos show Twix Shakers being added to waffles, hot cocoa, and fruit dip. I'd assume getting crazy with it and using the Twix Shakers as a sweet rub to chicken wings or other barbecue is also worth the experiment, because you only live once.
You can order the Twix Shaker bottle from the Sam's Club website or can keep your eye out for it at Sam's Club warehouses. I'm a firm believer you can never have too many spices, so why not add a Twix-flavored bottle to your spice rack?
