It's impossible to name the best thing on the Taco Bell menu (the almighty CrunchWrap Supreme! The plethora of Dorito's Locos Tacos!), but in case you needed a few other things to order, you'll be pretty excited to hear that the chain has been spotted testing a new and very different item: wings.
YouTuber Peep This Out posted a video reviewing new Crispy Chicken Wings that are currently being testing in Fullerton, CA. In the video, he shows off the signage, proving that they are available at a Taco Bell drive-thru, as well as tries the wings for himself and, guys? They seem GOOOOD.
You get five wings in each order (real wings, not boneless, btw!) as well as some spicy ranch sauce on the side as well. The wings are seasoned in a "bold Mexican seasoning" and are pretty sizable. You can get an order of five for $4.99. In the YouTube review, host Ian gave these wings rave reviews, hyping up everything to the smell to the chicken quality to the breading flavor. Watching the whole video through is definitely recommended though it made me SO hungry.
Of course we were hoping these would also be tested in our neck of the woods so we reached out to Taco Bell but they kept pretty coy: "We’re always innovating and listening to our fans and chicken is just one category that we’re excited to explore further and put our Taco Bell spin on."
So just keep your eyes on your local Taco Bell drive-thru and if you happen to see them...try them.
