Prince Harry spent an afternoon with James Corden on the latest episode of The Late Late Show and enjoyed a bit of afternoon tea on top of a double-decker bus while touring the Los Angeles area. The two talked about everything from The Crown to baby Archie and his newfound love of waffles.
After moving to Santa Barbara, CA, with Meghan Markle and their son Archie, Prince Harry admitted he hasn't seen much of the Los Angeles and the surrounding areas due to lockdown. Typically, the couple and their son stay home and watch Jeopardy! or Netflix before bed, he told James. James then went on to ask him about his son and how Harry is enjoying fatherhood.
"My son is now just over a year and a half, he is hysterical, he's got an amazing personality," Harry shared. "He's already putting three, four words together. He's already singing songs."
In the mornings, he even comes downstairs and asks for waffles, Harry said, ever since the queen sent him a waffle maker for the holidays.
"My grandmother asked us what Archie wanted for Christmas and Meg said a waffle maker. She sent us a waffle maker for Archie," he said. "So breakfast now Meg makes up a beautiful organic mix in the waffle maker, flip it, out it comes...he loves it. Now I have waffles for breakfast with a bit of yogurt, bit of jam on top, bit of berries, some honey, and maybe some syrup."
Sounds like breakfast at Meghan and Harry's home is a delicious occasion and that The Queen knows how to give a good Christmas gift. I'll be patiently waiting for my invite!
