Krispy Kreme's hulking up its donuts next weekend — not in size, per se, but in color. This has nothing to do with the next Marvel movie (because, let's be real: Hulk would be last in line for the glazed treatment out of that crew). The color change is meant to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
Known as the O'riginal Glazed, this treat is a traditional yeast donut made with green-tinted dough. It's coated in the typical, opaque sugar glaze, so it'll taste just like the classic donut you (and Florida Georgia Line, apparently) know and love. Since St. Patrick's Day falls on a Saturday this year, the donuts will be available for two days: Friday, March 16, and Saturday, March 17. The chain anticipates that many people will be celebrating the holiday in offices and at school the day before.
After all, what better way to put in an effort without having to, say, bake an entire rainbow bundt cake on a Thursday night than hitting up the drive thru and grabbing a dozen donuts? It takes 5 minutes, and suddenly, you're the office MVP. Even if you forgot to file your TPS reports.
